Much of my childhood was spent out in nature working and playing on the family farm. I received my bachelor of fine art in art from the University of South Dakota in 2006. I currently live in the Black Hills of South Dakota with my husband and our two kiddos. It is easy to see my love of nature and the area in which I live, reflected in my work. I am post impressionist at heart. I love to use gestural brushstrokes and variation of hue to express to convey the emotion of an image.
